We Are cGMP Certified — Here’s What That Actually Means

cGMP stands for Current Good Manufacturing Practices. It’s a federal compliance standard enforced by the FDA under 21 CFR Part 111 for dietary supplement manufacturers. Every company that sells supplements claims compliance. Very few can actually back it up.

What it means in practice at our facility: every batch we produce is manufactured against a documented formula, reviewed by our Director of Quality before and after production, and released only after it passes specification. If a batch doesn’t meet standard, it doesn’t ship. That’s not a marketing position — it’s a regulatory requirement we’ve built our entire operation around.

Every product in our melatonin line has a formula code — a specific, documented formulation that defines exactly what goes in, in what quantity, under what process. Each batch is tested before release. We document it. We stake our reputation on it.

In 2017, a study published in the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine tested 31 commercially available melatonin supplements. More than 70% deviated substantially from their label claims. Melatonin content in tested products ranged from 83% less than stated to 478% more than stated.

When manufacturing efficiency improved through expanded production capacity, our cost per unit went down — and we passed that reduction directly to customers. No changes to formulation, sourcing, or quality. The product got cheaper to make, so it got cheaper to buy. That’s it.
